11 men arrested for allegedly assaulting transgender woman
Police arrested 15 suspects for allegedly assaulting a transgender female prostitute in Tel Aviv. The suspects, residents of Yavne in their twenties, attacked her with pepper spray and a taser while wearing Purim masks on their faces.
They escaped the scene and were arrested after a short pursuit. The woman did not need medical treatment. In an insensitive oversight, police misidentified the transgendered woman's sex in the report. (Eli Senyor)
