Hezbollah official says Israel not interested in escalation on Golan front
Sheikh Hassan Izz-Al-Din, Hezbollah's representative to Western states, told Jordanian media that there would not be an Israeli escalation in the Golan Heights because Israel has "no interest in escalating the situation on that front."

He said: "The recent events in the Golan Heights are a Syrian message intended to end Israeli support of the Syrian rebels. Israel did not take Assad's words seriously, in which he said the Golan front is open, and there will be a response to Israeli attacks in the appropriate time and place." (Roi Kais)
