Ten of thousands of Hamas supporters have taken to the streets of Gaza City to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the assassination of the group's spiritual leader in an Israeli airstrike. The rally is to commemorate the death of Sheik Ahmed Yassin in an Israeli airstrike a decade ago, as well as the assassinations of other top Hamas figures.
Mushir al-Masri, a top Hamas leader, told the crowd Sunday that the group opposes peace talks with Israel and is always prepared for battle. He said: "Our fingers are on the trigger to defend our people." (AP)
