Report: Two of President Assad's cousins killed in fighting
President Bashar Assad lost two more cousins to the Syrian civil war, according to Al Arabiya. The report said the two were killed in the fierce fighting in the town of Kesab, near the border with Turkey.

Earlier in the week Syrian television confirmed that Hilal Assad was killed in Kesab. He was the president's cousin, as well as the commander of the National Defense Army, a pro-government force of civilians fighting alongside the Syrian military. (Roi Kais)
