Knesset to vote next week on force-feeding bill compromise

Knesset's Internal Affairs Committee Chairwoman MK Miri Regev (Likud) reached a compromise Tuesday evening with Yesh Atid representatives over the bill to prevent hunger strikes and allow the prison service to force feed administrative detainees. The compromise was formulated after Yesh Atid members opposed to the bill in its current format.

According to sources in the committee, the compromise that has been reached will allow a vote on the bill in the coming Monday, both in the Knesset and the committee. (Moran Azulay)
