South African President 'outraged' by killing of civilians in Gaza
South African President Jacob Zuma said on Monday that he was "outraged" by the deaths of Palestinian civilians in Israel's campaign in the Gaza Strip.

"We are outraged by Israel's killing of civilians, some in UN shelters," said Zuma in a speech in Washington where he participated in the US-Africa summit.

"We call on all parties to lay down their arms and work together for a negotiated solution that will lead to a solution to two internationally recognized and supported states," he added.
