Lieberman: UN institutions serve as stage to encourage terrorism

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday than before the UN criticizes Israel it should make sure its facilities are not used to encourage terrorist activity.

"UN chiefs should ensure that UN facilities are not used for storage and launching of rockets and that UN institutions, such as the Human Rights Council, will not be used as a stage to strengthen and encourage terrorism," said Lieberman.

The foreign minister added that if the UN did its job properly and work according to the purpose to which it was established, it would have sent an international force to remove Hamas' reign of terror and not wait for Israel to do so.
