Argentina tops Israel in Davis Cup playoff
Carlos Berlocq and Leonardo Mayer won singles matches Sunday, rallying Argentina past Israel 3-2 in a Davis Cup World Group playoff.
Berlocq captured the decisive match, downing Bar Botzer 6-2, 6-3, 6-0. The 20-year-old Bozer is ranked 776th and was making his Davis Cup debut this weekend.
Earlier at Sunrise Tennis Center, Mayer defeated Dudi Sela 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 in a match between the top players of each nation.
