Netanyahu on Sweden's clarification: Unilateral steps reduce chance of peace
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Sweden announcement regarding recognition of a Palestinian state and said: "Unilateral steps are in contrast of the agreements; they will not contribute to peace, but rather distance it".
"Peace will be achieved only by negotiation between the sides." Netanyahu added.
On Friday, Swedish premier Stefan Lofven said that his new government is going to recognize a Palestinian state which resulted in Israel summoning Sweden's ambassador for a reprimand talk at the Foreign Ministry.
