Netanyahu, Danon agree to hold Likud Committee meeting on Nov. 9
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud Chairman Danny Danon agreed Wednesday to hold the Likud Committee meeting on November 9th, the new date was set after Danon previously canceled the meeting last week in a move to ensure the prime minister would not succeed in starting early primaries.
During the committee meeting, Likud members will vote on key issues and choose a date for primaries for the leadership of the Likud. Mk Danon will push for the primaries to be held on January 28th rather than in late November or early December as Netanyahu aimed for.
