After suicide of Arab driver: Egged drivers skip work causing delays
Traffic delays in public transportation occurred in Jerusalem on Monday evening when several Arab bus drivers did not show up to work after an Arab bus driver for the Egged bus company committed suicide on Sunday.
According to Egged, the delays will continue on Tuesday as well.
"At Egged we are gathering former drivers and retired drivers of the company in order to minimize the affect on passengers," Egged said in a response.
Earlier on Monday, the Forensic Medicine Institute said there were no suspicions of foul play surrounding the death of the driver.
