Netanyahu, Lapid meet to resolve coalition crisis
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid are meeting to try and solve the coalition crisis.
Earlier on Monday at the Yesh Atid faction meeting, Lapid said Netanyahu supported his budget and zero-VAT proposal. Later in the day, the prime minister said at the Likud meeting that he supported "plans that he was not fully comfortable with – like the zero-VAT bill – in order to maintain harmony within the governing coalition.
