Iran dismisses UN probe of alleged work on nukes
Iran is suggesting that the UN atomic agency is out of line in trying to follow up allegations that the country worked on nuclear weapons. The probe is separate from talks between Iran and six world powers meant to reduce Iran's capacity to make nuclear weapons by reconfiguring its present civilian projects.
An Iranian statement Monday indicates that probe has fizzled less than a year after it started – like others over the past decade by the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency.
