Livni: Israel's sovereignty over Western Wall is eternal
Hatnua Chairwoman Tzipi Livni and Labor Chairman Isaac Herzog spoke at a candle lighting ceremony at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, saying that they would not give up sovereignty over the site.
"Israel's sovereignty here in Jerusalem is an expression of the historic tie between the people and their country. This sacred and historic site will remain under Israeli sovereignty forever," Livni said.
