The head of Argentina's army is being investigated over his alleged role in the forced disappearance of a soldier during the country's 1976-1983 dictatorship.
Lt. General Cesar Milani is accused of signing false documents and participating in a cover-up in the 1976 disappearance of Alberto Agapito Ledo.
La Nacion newspaper said Thursday that federal prosecutor Carlos Brito has requested that Milani be questioned before a local court. Brito claims Milani falsely declared Ledo as a defector in signed documents without questioning his whereabouts.
