Israel's highest point, on Mount Hermon, will experience another snow storm, with the upper Galilee and northern Golan Heights covered in white in the early morning hours. Flood alerts are in place for the Jordan Valley and the Judean desert.
The western Galilee has been soaked with more than 100 millimeters in the past 24 hours, leading to floods overnight.
Tzachi Waxman, a local meteorologist, said the rain will continue throughout the day and spread towards the central and southern regions.
On Thursday, the massive wave of dust that has covered Israel for the past two days began to disperse, but visibility was still limited in the south, as sand storms continued in the Negev.
Following a short bout of spring weather, Israel has seen winter return with a haze of dust which has blanketed the region, followed by massive winds and rain.
The weather has already taken its toll, leading to a number of road accidents, one early Thursday morning when a car traveling near the Golani Junction slid and crashed into the metal barrier.
