Two Israelis killed in accidents abroad

Two Israelis were killed during trips abroad this weekend. A 55-year-old Israeli was killed Saturday in a paragliding accident in Macedonia. He was a resident of Kfar Vitkin and leaves a wife and four children. His family has been notified and the Department for Israelis abroad of the Foreign Ministry is arranging for the body to be flown to Israel.

 

In Andorra, a principality between France and Spain, a 53-year-old Israeli was killed after he stumbled and fell 30 meters, while climbing Coma Pedrosa, Andorra's highest mountain, with a friend. His body will be taken for an autopsy. The Israeli Embassy in Spain and the Department for Israelis abroad of the Foreign Ministry are arranging for his body to be flown to Israel. His family has been notified. His friend was not hurt.
