Palestinians accuse Israel on settlements, Gaza, prisoners at ICC
The Palestinian Authority presented the International Criminal Court with documents Thursday claiming Israeli crimes regarding the construction of settlements in the West Bank, Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian prisoners locked up in Israel.
While Thursday marked the first time the Palestinians have presented the ICC with official documents, they are not classified as official complaints against Israel. Instead, the information is meant to convince the international body to open an investigation into Israel's alleged war crimes.
