WATCH: The eulogies at Shimon Peres's funeral
As former Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres was delivered to his final resting place, Israeli and US leaders past and present eulogized the former statesman for all he did for the Jewish state and the Jewish nation.
The funeral for former Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres took place on Friday at the Mt. Herzl Plaza in Jerusalem. Speakers ranging from the current Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and the sitting President of the United States Barack Obama, to former US President Bill Clinton and sitting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu all eulogized the man who was the last of Israel's founding fathers.
