Lethal accident near Mitzpe Ramon claims 3 lives
The lethal head-on collision near Mitzpe Ramon claimed three lives and wounded four more people, one critically. Fatalities bring total number of traffic deaths to 47 since the beginning of 2017.
Three people were killed and four injured—one in critical condition—following a head-on collision between two cars Wednesday afternoon on Highway 40 near Mitzpe Ramon.
MDA paramedics pronounced two men dead at the scene and along with firefighters, provided emergency medical treatment to two other people on site before they were airlifted to Soroka Medical Center.

According to the National Road Safety Authority, Wednesday's fatalities bring the total number of people killed on the roads since the beginning of 2017 to 47.
