Lebanon denounces Israeli allegations that Hezbollah infiltrated their army
The Lebanese army rejected the Israeli report to the UN about a Hezbollah man infiltrating the army and serving as a senior officer near the border.
"The military command determines the composition of the military units in accordance with the tasks imposed on them," the Lebanese army stated. "We working in cooperation with a UNIFIL force in southern Lebanon, as opposed to Israel, which regularly violates the cease-fire. The army will handle the fabricated reports and respond to them on the legal level."
