Jordan: Israel Embassy won't reopen before Israeli guard is prosecuted

Jordanian government spokesperson Mohammad Al Momani said Thursday that Israel's Embassy in Amman would not be reopened until Israel prosecutes security guard Ziv Moyal, who shot dead two Jordanian citizens after one attacked him with a screwdriver.

"We obey international law and expect Israel to obey international law as well and prosecute the murderer," Al Momani said. "This is our demand. The ambassador would not return and the embassy would not be reopened until this is done."
