Lieberman warns 'we will respond with force to any provocation' following drone interception

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman referred to the interception of the unmanned aerial vehicles from Syria by a Patriot missile Saturday, saying that "the State of Israel views with great severity any violation of sovereignty and will respond with force to any provocation.

"We view the Syrian regime as responsible for all firing and violation of sovereignty, We will not allow the establishment of the Shiite axis in Syria as a base for forward action," he added.
