The High Court of Justice has decreed Israel would have to return the bodies of terrorists, thereby accepting a petition submitted by the terrorists' families and ruling Israel had no authority to do hold them further.
The High Court ruled Israel could not hold onto the bodies as a bargaining chip in negotiations since there was no specific law permitting it to do so.
The court then gave the state six months to draft such a law, and it stated if it failed to do so it would have to return the bodies to the families.
