The plane took off from a field near the scene of the crash and plunged into the ground from an altitude of 200 meters.
“We arrived at the agricultural field and saw a light aircraft that had crashed into the ground,” recalled one of the paramedics.
“There was a 60-year-old man trapped inside the plane and firefighters came to extricate him. We conducted medical checks but he was showing no signs of life and we were forced to pronounce his death,” he added.
Four months ago, two men aged 46 and 57 were lightly and moderately injured during a forced landing in a light aircraft in a field in Kfar Shmaryahu.
