Eisenkot: Hamas stokes West Bank attacks to preserve Gaza calm
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot referred to Hamas's attempts to carry out terrorist attacks in the West Bank, and said, "Hamas's attempts to stoke and aggrandize attacks are born of its desire to keep the peace in Gaza for as long as possible while inciting attacks in the West Bank."
Eisenkot also said Hamas was considering favorably the lone-wolf terrorism strategy inspired by the Islamic State.
