Survey: Half of Israeli Arabs do not recognize country as Jewish state
A poll on Jewish-Arab relations conducted by Haifa University showed that more than half of Israeli Arabs are not willing to accept Israel's Jewish majority or recognize it as a Jewish and democratic state.
The survey further showed that the legitimacy of Jews and state in the eyes of Arabs has suffered, as did the legitimacy of Arab citizens in the eyes of Jews.
