Hamas to pay families of protesters killed, injured in March of Return
The Hamas terror group said Thursday that it would pay families of Palestinians who are killed or wounded during the “March of Return” protests, with the next one set to take place on Friday.
The money would be given, it said, “as compensation as part of the social and national responsibility framework of the organization.”
Bereaved families will receive $3,000, while family members of protesters seriously wounded in the march will receive $500. Families of protesters who are moderately wounded will receive $200.
