Stabbing attempt thwarted near Mishor Adumim

Palestinian tries to stab Israeli with screwdriver at gas stop on road to the settlement of Mishor Adumim; passerby opens fire and neutralizes suspect, seriously wounding him; three treated for shock.

A Palestinian man arrived at the gas station near Mishor Adumim early Sunday afternoon and attempted to stab an Israeli man with a screwdriver, police said.
A civilian passing by with his car noticed the altercation, opened fire at the suspect and neutralized him.
The attacker, a 31-year-old resident of Nablus, was rushed to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Mount Scopus in serious condition. Three people were treated from shock.
