IDF fires tank shells at Palestinians trying to cross Gaza border fence
The IDF fired tank shells at a group of five Palestinians who had tried to cross the Gaza border fence east of Khan Younis in the southern strip. Palestinian sources say three of the Palestinians were wounded.
"An IDF force spotted five suspects approaching the border fence in the night. At least one of them was armed. The force fired at the suspects," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement.
