Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday's government meeting "We are determined to halt Iranian aggression, even at the cost of a (military) conflict."
In anticipation of Netanyahu's meeting with Russia's President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, he said that countries that did not act against murderous aggression against them have paid a heavy price.
"We are not interested in escalation but are ready for any scenario. It's better now than later," he said.
"The Revolutionary Guards are providing the Syrians with advanced weapons, including missiles and anti-aircraft military systems to harm us on the frontlines as well as in the mainland.
