Police declines appealing release of 7 Haifa protest detainees
Police have decided to not appeal the Haifa Magistrate's Court decision to release all remaining detainees from a Gaza solidarity protest in Haifa Friday.
The court postponed the release of seven of the 19 detainees at the police's behest, as they allegedly assaulted officers, in order to allow the force to appeal. With the police deciding against an appeal, however, they too will be released.
