Labor Party suspending its membership in international group for its BDS support

The Labor Party informed the Socialist International, an international organization of social-democratic parties, that it is suspending its membership following a the latter's declaration of support for the BDS boycott campaign against Israel.

"We are suspending our membership as a preliminary step towards a permanent cancellation … if this miserable, hypocritical and evil decision regarding the Palestinian issue is not revoked," a letter sent to the organization said.
