PLO: 'US cannot shut down UNRWA'

PLO Executive Secretary General Saeb Erekat criticized on Saturday the US decision to stop funding to UNRWA.

"We condemn the resolution and refuse it. The Americans cannot shut down UNRWA because the decision to establish the agency was accepted By the General Assembly. The US cannot congratulate the theft of Palestinian lands, stealing Jerusalem and handing it to Israel, and it cannot act according to the whims of Sheldon Adelson and Benjamin Netanyahu," Erekat stated.
