Shaked clashes with Druze activists over Nation State Law
Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked’s meeting with Druze activists ended abruptly, after Shaked told them that “the Nation State Law will not be changed,” since it “defines Israel as the national home of the Jewish people.”
Several activists who attended the meeting turned their backs on Shaked and left, thus ending the meeting.
During the meeting, Shaked clarified that “in order to heal the wound, we can definitely push for legislation defining the status of the Druze community.”
