France condemns Israel's planned construction in West Bank settlements
The French government condemned Israel's decision to build more than 2000 housing units in the West Bank settlements.
The ministry for foreign affairs said the decision was in contradiction to International law and a cause for concern adding it contributes to tension and instability and obstructs any chance for a lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
