Russian foreign minister: 'I want a government with responsible position on Palestinian issue'

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Wednesday that he would like to see an Israeli government adopt a responsible position in relation to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The statement was given during a meeting with the leaders of the Geneva Initiative in Moscow.

Lavrov added that the two-state solution is necessary as the conflict is a time bomb that will eventually explode.
