Herzog calls to increase security of Jewish institutions across Europe after Germany attack
Following an attack on a synagogue in Germany over the weekend that left two people dead, the head of the Jewish Agency, Isaac Herzog, on Thursday urged European ambassadors stationed in Israel to call to increase security of Jewish sites across Europe during the Sukkot holiday next week.
"We're in a clear state of emergency, every measure should be taken to eradicate violent anti-Semitism wherever it rears its head," Herzog added.
