Foreign Ministry condemns European ruling to mark goods from settlements
The Foreign Ministry has condemned on Tuesday the ruling of the European Court of Justice, which states that all 28 EU countries are obliged to mark products from Israeli settlements.
"We strongly reject the decision that all its purpose is to implement a double standard for Israel. This is a discriminatory political decision," read the statement. " The decision runs counter to the EU's own positions".
Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz called the decision "morally wrong" and announced that he intends to "work with European foreign ministers to prevent the implementation of this wrong and severe policy".
