Members of Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee criticize chairman's trip abroad

Harsh criticism was leveled at the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Tzahi Hanegbi, who chose to go on vacation during the war, by members of the committee. It was noted that the committee is one of the most important in its role of overseeing the functioning of the political aparatus and of the IDF during war time.

Hanegbi's office responded saying that he went on a short vacation and that he appointed MK Otniel Schneller to take his place during his absense. (Ilan Marciano)
