Olmert: Mutual responsibility is glue connecting our society
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert expressed his feelings in a special announcement he made on the day the bodies of kidnapped soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev returned.
Olmert said that “the entire Israeli nation is enveloping and hugging the Goldwasser and Regev families in their mourning. This is a day in which doubts have been removed regarding Udi and Eldad’s fates but also regarding Israel’s moral might. A foreigner won’t understand what every Israeli knows well, mutual responsibility and concern about each one of our soldiers, is the glue which connects us as a society.” (Attila Somfalvi)
