62. Hope you arent a parent then...
jerusalem   (07.03.12)
you would make a horrible one at that. I'd like to kick you in the 'tussy' (lol) this is child abuse and a violation of international law. Funny how such treatment is tolerated by the international audience. Dont be that gullible-when you have footage, there are only so many ways for one to go wrong.

Indigenous? There was never a Palestinian race and if you wish to argue that point why is there Jewish artifacts I.e the Dead Sea scrolls that go back further then Islam? You believe your greater informed when in all honesty your more brainwashed. You only have to look a few kms East to see what Syria and the rest of the middle east does to children!

deavman ,   Acco, Israel   (07.03.12)
This organization has been caught lying so many times that nobody in a right mind would believe anything coming from them. This was obviously staged, the boy was enticed (candy ?) to throw stones and the border guards got caught in the trap. They are actually doing a great disservice to the Arab population as no one pays attention except the Israel haters.
65. Too much wrong with this video.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (07.03.12)
Firstly where was the person filming this, that they managed to get this footage in that tiny visible space. Secondly, B'tselem claims that they only started filming once the child was in custody - not so - he waited patently for something to happen. Thirdly - how do they know it was a kick - the other soldier is totally in the way of the camera. For all we know the 2nd soldier could have kicked the ground, not the child. While Magav has a bad rep, so does B'tselem and their photographers.
66. Quick to judge may lead to wrong decision
Zeev ,   TA   (07.03.12)
I'm against abuse of power, especially against children. However, there are some things about this video that just don't make sense: Why film at that particular location, at that exact time? It's like the videographer was waiting for (knew?) something to happen. There's an extremely narrow field of view, yet all the action took place right there. Coincidence? Officer #1 seems to be stalking the child. Why? Once he grabs the child he moves into a better filming position. Officer #2 runs to the scene, kicks the child and walks away. Quite odd. This clip needs to be investigated. If anyone can find what really happened, the offending party must be severely punished.
67. Where did they get such a good camera?
Daniel ,   Bolivia   (07.03.12)
Aren't Palestinians supposed to be oppressed and starving? Seems like a set-up to further demonize the state of Israel.
68. Should be thankful. His dad treats him no better.

This was mild. Remember the good old days when the IDF had the “break the bone” policy?
70. To: No. 31
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.03.12)
Well, since Jewish kids do not hurl boulders at ersatz "Palestinian" police, or otherwise interfere with them, the answer is simply that your question is puerile and entirely irrelevant. Next stupid query? Do you have one?

BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (07.04.12)
that the child walked around with a homicide bomb under his clothing, ready to detonate, as others have these children have already done They received their training in Kindegarten, Hamas is so proud of it they made several videos of the little tyke all dressed in Shahid clotihing, it's on Yourube, replete with mock bomb belts
78. Not a set up
Basil ,   Dallas, Texas   (07.04.12)
There are Palestinian camera man who are on the look out for what Israeli guards might do, and they send the footage to Israeli human rights groups. The camera man knows his city and what could happen. It's interesting to see the conspiracy theories, and the guards are not Palestinian. They're Sephardic, clearly. I understand how they reacted, but it's very unprofessional and very bad conduct.
