More than 50 bodies unearthed in mass grave northeast of Baghdad

Iraqi police say soldiers have unearthed more than 50 badly decomposed bodies in a mass grave northeast of Baghdad.

The bodies were found in an orchard Sunday in the village of al-Kubaa near Baqouba, a town 35 miles northeast of Baghdad, the police said. The area has seen frequent fighting between American troops and Sunni insurgents led by al-Qaeda in Iraq. (AP)
