A terrorist convicted of involvement in the deadly suicide bombing attack on Tel Aviv’s Carmel Market in November, 2004 was sentenced Wednesday to four consecutive life terms in prison.
Three people were killed and dozens more were injured in the bombing.
The terrorist, Hisham Kaabi, is a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine; his accomplices, Ahmed Arada and Bassam Hundkaji, were sentenced to three life terms in prison.
The three commanded over and financed the attack and transported the explosives to the suicide bomber.
Kaabi received the harsher sentence due to his past involvement in more than 10 terror attacks.
The Carmel Market attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who detonated a bag of explosives he was carrying near a cheese store.
The military court also sentenced three Palestinian youngsters for introducing the suicide bomber to the terrorists who sent him: Iad Abu Hit, Yehia Zaharan and Hassan Mahmad were sentenced to 22-24 years in prison.
