Hamas claims responsibility for murder of Pisgat Ze’ev resident
Hamas officially claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of Sasson Nuriel, 55, from Pisgat Ze’ev, whose body was found Monday southwest of Ramallah.
The organization said that Nuriel was kidnapped in order to serve as a bargaining chip for the release of Palestinian prisoners, but was murdered following the “First Rain” operation in Gaza. (AP)
