VIDEO - Abdelkader Ahmad, whose brother Zakaria and sister Fatma died in an Israeli air strike on the family's home in Khan Yunis on Wednesday, said attacks on innocent civilians "suit the Israelis." "Missiles on innocent civilians enjoying a meal suits the Israeli, thugs and murderers," Abdelkader, 57, told Ynet. Zakaria, 47, who lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, arrived in Gaza two days ago to mourn the death of his brother-in-law, Abdelrahman Abu Shanab. Zakaria lived in Saudi Arabia since 1981. His family said he missed Khan Yunis but limited family visits because of the intifada. On Wednesday afternoon he left his wife and children at his in-laws and set for a meal with his brother Abdelkader. As the family gathered to savor the chicken and rice prepared in honor of Zakaria, a loud boom was heard. The boom was caused by a missile fired by the Israel Air Force at Hamas activists but landed in the Abdelkader's home. "It was all a matter of seconds. A scary boom, lightening, shrapnel, fire. My children and brothers were bodies on the floor," Abdelkader told Ynet. 'Pain can wait' Abdelkader, who was injured in the attack, left hospital to receive mourners. "My brother and sister were killed. I have to be here but I can't forget the view. As the explosion was heard and everything went blurry and suffocating, I ran and opened the door to breathe fresh air. I stuck my head out and breathed, Ii looked inside and I couldn't believe what I was seeing: dead and injured bodies on the floor. My siblings' bodies," he said. The explosion damaged AbdelKader's hearing. "I remember being shocked and darkness. I don't know what I thought then…I remember us being taken to hospital in ambulances. When I recovered a bit I understood we have two shahids, my brother Zakaria and my sister Fatima. In addition, 11 people were injured: Ahmad, Sayman and Khaled in critical condition," he said. Abdelkader said pain from his wounds can wait: "I am the eldest here, and I have to welcome mourners. I have nothing to tell the Israelis. What can I tell an enemy who's acting like a bunch of thugs ambushing people, firing and murdering them near the homes of innocent civilians. To be honest I didn't expect anything less from this enemy. What shall I expect from them? That they throw flowers on us? No."
