The Red Dawn warning system was activated five times Saturday evening.

Security forces located two rockets that fell in open fields in the Western Negev. The Israel Defense Forces and police are trying to locate the other rockets.

Moshe and Yael Ben-Shitrit were out with their children when the alarm was sounded.

"We were very scared…the children were very scared. We were on the street and ran to the first house we saw, which was locked. We ran to another house, where we were received and they calmed us down," the couple said.

'Words of retaliation'

Residence of the city say helplessness is taking its toll on extreme elements.

"I heard residents saying that if the IDF is not working, we the residents should take action. There are army veterans who served in special
units, some of whom have knowledge in using explosives and there are calls for retaliation. Someone said, that if the Palestinians are capable of firing primitive rockets, maybe we can do something too," Moshe said.

"I believe that so long there are no human casualties, these are just voices. But if people are killed, I have no doubt that people will lose their patient and some will take action."

The Likud party, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, will hold its Sunday faction meeting in Sderot.

Netanyahu was criticized for not paying a visit to Sderot over the last two weeks.
