IDF: Attempted rocket launch from West Bank is attempt to raise money
Security officials told Ynet that the attempt to launch rockets in Tul Karem over the weekend is not a new threat for the IDF, and that "there's no doubt that the organizations are attempting to replicate the technology and know-how from Gaza in order to threaten the Sharon area."
A senior IDF officer said: "The attempt to improvise a rocket failed, but the aim of the attempt was to send photographed evidence to places from which money arrives, and to prove to funders that more money is needed. (Hanan Greenberg)
