Wanted Palestinian nabbed in Nablus involved in terror
It has been cleared for publication Tuesday that Jamil Fukaha, the senior Fatah member who was apprehended in the Nablus casba, was involved in the planning of suicide attacks and arms trade.
Among other things, in February 2005 Fukaha assisted in the transfer of an explosives belt that was meant to be used in a thwarted terror attack in Jerusalem; the Fatah member was also in contact with Hizbullah operatives in Lebanon and is considered an expert bomb-maker. (Efrat Weiss)
