MK Naveh: Olmert's explanations prove need for national commission of inquiry
MK Dan Naveh (Likud) said in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, "The explanations offered by the prime minister prove the need to establish a national commission of inquiry that will evaluate and clarify the differences in the approaches of the political and the military echelons."
According to the Knesset member, in the meeting Olmert "gave a defensive speech on the purposes of the war and tried to present what is considered in his mind an achievement." (Ilan Marciano)
